A Text-to-Speech Demo

Here is something fun to do for a minute or two. The actual concept is actually very useful. What you do is type in information and have the program read it or in some cases you can have the program read over a site to you. This is useful for the blind, people who don't feel like constantly reading website or documents, or a nice way to create a podcast. However the full versions usually cost money and therefore us broke college kids won't review it right now on our site. Note: there are also a few free open source applications as well if you really are interested.

Anyhow for our purpose, you can use the above link to listen to a variety of voices in different languages, rates, pitches, and effects. This is fun to type in a few curse words or derogitory comments and laugh at it. It should keep you occupied for a minute or two.
